Ganpat University, Centre for Health and Applied Science organized webinar on “Fundamentals of Liquid Chromatography – Simplifying the Science of Separation by HPLC” on Tuesday, 19 th May, 2020 between 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. This webinar was conceptualized and coordinated by Dr. Ravindra Agrval, Dr. Sarish Patel, Dr. P. U. Patel and Dr. R. K. Patel. The webinar speaker was Mr. Gunvat Yadav, Application Specialist – Pharma, Spinco Biotech Pvt. Ltd. More than 650 undergraduates, postgraduates, PhD scholars and faculty members from various disciplines across India got registered for this webinar. 248 participants joined the webinar from 20 different states of India. Mr. Gunvat Yadav covered concept of basics of liquid chromatography with principle, instrumentation and application of this techniques in various fields with proper examples. Besides he unveiled certain chromatographic terminologies which made participants prompt learner in liquid chromatography. He narrated significance of HPLC in research and development with primary emphasis on development and validation of analytical and bio analytical methods. He finished his formal talk on the topic in 1 hour and 30 minutes. Thereafter participants are asked to discuss their queries. In the response, more than 35 questions have been lodged in Q&A section from audience. All the questions have been answered satisfactorily and elaborated with suitable examples by Spinco team including speaker Mr. Gunvat Yadav, Mr. Devansh Shah and Mr. Sarojkumar Katara. It took almost 30 minutes to elaborate all queries received. Webinar was ended with vote of thanks by Dr. Satish A. Patel.
